Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest-ever, Peace Nobel Prize, in 2014. She is known mainly for human rights advocacy for education and for women in her native Swat Valley in the Khyber Pass, Pakistan, where the local Taliban had at times banned girls from attending school.

In 2012 Malala was victim of an assault by a Taliban gunman as she rode home on a bus after taking an exam in Pakistan's Swat Valley. The masked gunman shouted "Which one of you is Malala? Speak up, otherwise I will shoot you all", and on her being identified, shot at her.

By then she was already well known in Pakistan because of her blogs, but that one shocking act brought her to international fame. When she was finally recovered, she returned to school again, however she never stopped her campaign and she has taken it around the world. Yousafzai's memoir I Am Malala: The Story of the Girl Who Stood Up for Education and was shot by the Taliban, was published in October 2013.

Everyone is talking about her achievements and the fact that she stands up for education all over the world. It is a miracle to survive after having been shot in such terrifying circumstances, so I believe that she is fearless and brave to fight for her rights. This girl knows what she wants and she is fighting not only for her dream but for other's dreams, those who don't have the chance to be able to go to school and have an education.
