Out of Africa: is an American romantic drama film made in 1985.
The film based on the autobiographical book" Out of Africa" written by Isak Dinesen.
The film was produced and directed by Sydney Pollack.
The producer and director was born in Lafayette (Indiana) in July 1934, and he died in twenty of May in 2008.He was also an actor.
He was from a jew family. He came to New York to perciude his dream which is theater.
He directed his first film "The Slender Thread" in 1966.In 1915 he won an Academy Awards for directing and producing the film Out of Africa.
The book Out of Africa is a memory by Isak Dinesen .It published in 1937 by Putman in UK and Gyldendal in Denmark.The book tells events of the writer in Kenya.
The Events took place in Africa ( East Africa Protectorate), it was an area in the African Great Lakes occupying roughly the same place as present-day Kenya.It was controlled by Britain in the 19th century and part of the XXth.
